up date

so much to talk about! i haven't updated in forever!

first things first, i have to talk about the trip(s)
here is Miranda, Christina,James and i in Las Vegas for Eva's sweet 16. we had loads of fun!











then of course the Michigan trip! my sweet Panda got married, again! and that was great (cold, cold) fun, and Sav and i miss it out their a lot! and everyone we left behind.

then there was Winterim week the first day we went to the beach to pick up trash. did you know that sea gulls eat the trash and then die? its like they should not eat things like that huh?
nick and i wrote each other a note in the sand.

the second day we went to Hollywood, we went to the farmers market for lunch, then to ripleys believe it or not museum which was really cool, check out all the cool pics we took.
here is me and nick making "taco tongs" in the deceitful mirror which turned out to be two ways so people walking by on the other side of the wall could see us being stupid.

while we were on Hollywood Blvd we saw the people setting up for The Academy Awards, the red carpet was out and everything, so nick and i suck off to the Kodak theater to catch a glimpse of what the celebs would see when they were there.

then of course we went to see the foot prints at the Chinese Theater, but these were the only foot prints i was interested in :)

the next day we went to Knotts Berry Farm!

it was a lot of fun, except i have the WORST motion sickness and that made me miss out on a lot, which was sad.

i was kinda the mom of the group, i took pictures and cheered on the ones brave enough to go on the rides.

i did get to go on a few rides that did not make me feel too noxious :)

that day was so fun!
that, however was my last day of winterim, my stomach problems turned out to be more than motion sickness, but that is okay, i don't regret on missing out on any thing, i had fun the days i was healthy. Jamie planed a great week, (all of my love goes out to you "sweet buns").






other than that things are pretty normal, Mom and Van left on Friday the 12th for Uganda, Gulu Africa, so it is just me and my dad for two weeks. things are going great, i love spending time with my dad, we went to get his hair cut down at the beach by Dillon because he is not ready for someone else to cut his hair yet, then we went to Taco Loco for a delicious tofu mushroom burger, soooooooooooooo good! we have just been playin it by ear, i babysit for van on Mondays while she is gone and i have softball practice everyday, i like it so far. other than that my life is pretty much in rhythm, well thats all i have for you right now.........

wise men say.....

Only Fools Rush In. oh the magical love that Alex and Isabel share in this movie. you may be asking, why is she talking about this movie? well it is because it is based in Las Vegas and i am going their to celibate the birth of my good friend Eva and my little sister Savvy. im so excited! we leave on Thursday after school and we are ment to stay till the 31st but we are leaving on the 30th because the girls who are going to Africa have a huge fund raiser on the 31st i shall be loads of fun you can decorate toms shoes, eat and hand out with friends. we all are so excited even my mom is coming to Vegas, she is staying in a different hotel of course and she is bringing Smitty along! so they will be together most of the time. you know, chillin out maxin relaxin all cool... I just wish the rest of the girls would understand that she is not going to like, stock us or anything, she is just going to be in town. i don't mind her coming, if she wasn't i wouldn't even go, i have a car to pay for that my "Vegas" money could go towards. any way, that's the up date.

Flocking

            
Today was so blah it was a half day, i went in at 10 took my Spanish III final and went home, slept for about four hours and then got dressed in all black to go flock my teachers house. flocking is kind of our school's specialty, normally someone pays us to go to someones house and take like a million pink plastic flamingos and stick them all over the yard, then they will be all like "omg where did all of these come from?" then they will see the flier on the door saying something along the lines of "you've been FLOCKED sucka! to get these flamingos off ur yard you have to pay the small price of... to the winterum..." its really fun, but because it is Christmas time we decided to do "striping" so we do candy canes instead, except we couldn't afford giant candy canes, so we got the lil ones and some candy cane wrapping paper and decorated his whole car all the trees and taped candy canes every where, and all that before 10 o'clock. if you would like to "stripe" someone you know E male me it is only $10 and all we need is the mon$$ and an address.  tell your friends!

modeling

a while ago Savannah and i were asked by a few guys in a photography class if we would be models for their assignment, so naturally we agreed to helping them out, they ended up turning out pretty nice, although i now wish that we could take some more so i could wear an outfit where the strap didn't continuously pop off.

so it was a fun experience any how, they did a fantastic job i must say. they made us look like friggen angels. anyway, i got to go and study, finals are this week *yuck* i hope i can make it. and i am so looking forward to mu 17th comin up on the 21st i cant wait not to be 18 another year!

Creative???

I'm not really a fashion blogger (though i wish i was) but i can appreciate creativity when i see it, what am i talking about? you may be asking... I'm talking about these........

I found out about them from my friend Davis who wanted me to watch "Fashion Orgasm" with him.

they look like bee hives...... and very uncomfortable to walk in. And I know that fashion is not about comfort or practical-ness but come on!

I mean, yes they are kinda cool, very creative, it makes me wonder what Alexander McQueen's inspiration was... maybe Firefly? not the band, the show about the future. 

so even though they are strange, they are unique, and I will never shut down a creative idea when i see one.
Admittedly, I do like them a little more because of Lady GaGa.

updates!!!!!

1. last year, when spending time at home, because a doctor told me i had something (that i didn't) he put me on some medication that made me a little, well, crazy, I couldn't concentrate in class I cried about every thing and became very depressed. This made me stay home for a week, when i was at home, I was told to keep busy with things that make me happy. I enjoy crafts, scrap booking, jewelry making, and i stumbled apon a web site that told me how to make head bands. I made a lot, this one on my baby sis i made especially for her, (I told her that she could have it if i could take pictures of her in it to use as my "prototype"). So this is the first of many to come and appear on my blog.

2. At the Farm (where Savannah goes to school) they make all the Ninth Graders participate in some thing called "capstone" it is a project that involves every subject, when i was attending the farm my capstone was ceramics. Savannah also went in the art direction, and chose photography, (we both like to find beauty in ugly).   

3. This is my beautiful cousin, who i try and spend a lot of time with. she gets bigger every time I see her.

4. Third time's the charm, Nov. 30 is the "big date" im taking it in Banning, so hopefully i pass this time. (fingers crossed).

5. i just got a hair cut, i have forehead bangs again. i was afraid to go to school cuz i thought i looked like a boy, but every one said i look cute.

Balated Halloween

This Halloween, Savannah was Robyn the side kick of the all too amazing Bat Man! i was Pocahontas or Sacajawea or some kind of other Indian. and dad was some kind of serial killer i think he was trying to be Dexter form the popular show on Showtime.
                                                             
 Savannah and my night consisted of "trick or treating" with a fairly large amount of friends, then back to Jamie's house to watch a crappy movie that no one was invested in about cannibalistic hobos and we decided to turn off not even half way through the "film" if that's what you could even call it that. Then Savannah and I spent the night over at Mariah's house (that's our Black sister) all in all,  it wasn't too bad of a night.
